Who We Are

Carib Fiber Arts (CaFA) is an online community of fiber artists in and from the Caribbean region.

At CaFA, emergent, and established makers who create with fiber—quilting, weaving, knitting, crocheting, sewing, macramé, and so on—can submit their portfolio, bio, and any information related to promotion of their work; sell their work; meet up; engage in vigorous discussion; collaborate on projects; and, just enjoy being part of a productive and creative community.

CaFA has a subsidiary, Simply Warped, which is the online store at and brand name under which fiber products produced by or advertised at CaFA are sold. The Simply Warped store offers a variety of yarns, from silk to hemp, at discount prices to members. Additionally, the store showcases and sells a range of fiber products from handwovens to shibori and tegaki kyo yuzen to tapestry.

Those wishing to join Carib Fiber Arts to display and sell their work should join up, email images, bios, press releases, and other pertinent information to CaFA. It’s that simple.
