Charchan Man Archaeologists have depended on cave paintings, fossils, and excavated tools to assess the technology and possessions of ancient cultures. In this, the right climate is a great aid. For instance, countries with regions of cold and dry climates (China, Peru, Europe, for example) provide more fossil evidence than those (India, Africa, the Caribbean, for example) which are hot and humid.
